Instructions

Make a magic ring.

  • Round 1:Ch 5 (counts as dc and ch-2 sp), * tr in the ring, ch 2, dc in the ring, ch 2; repeat from * 5 times, tr in the ring, ch 2, pull the yarn tail to tighten the ring as much as needed, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch5. (6 tr, 6 dc, 12 ch-2 spaces)
  • Round 2:* In next ch-2 sp work (sc, hdc, dc), in next tr work (dc, ch 2, dc), in next ch-2 sp work (dc, hdc, sc); repeat from * around, join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off. (12 sc, 12 hdc, 24 dc, 6 ch-2 spaces)
  • Round 3:Join new color in any ch-2 sp, ch 1, in same ch-2 sp work (sc, ch 8, sc), ch 7, * in next ch-2 sp work (sc, ch 8, sc), ch 7; repeat from * around, join with sl st in first sc. (12 sc, 6 ch-8 spaces, 6 ch-7 spaces)
  • Round 4:* In next ch-8 sp work (2 sc, ch 3, sc, ch 3, sc, ch 8, sc, ch 3, sc, ch 3, 2 sc), in next ch-7 sp work (2 sc, 2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc, 2 sc); repeat from * around, join with sl st in first sc. (72 sc, 24 ch-3 spaces, 6 ch-8 spaces, 24 hdc, 6 ch-1 spaces)

Fasten off your work and carefully weave in all loose ends.
