Make a magic ring.

  • Round 1:Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch-1 sp), * dc in the ring, ch 1; repeat from * 7 times, pull the thread tail to close the ring as much as needed, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch4. (8 dc, 8 ch-1 spaces)
  • Round 2:Sl st in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 5, * sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 5; repeat from * 7 times, join with sl st in first sc. (8 sc, 8 ch-5 spaces)
  • Round 3:Sl st in next 2 chains, ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same ch-5 sp, ch 3, * 3 dc in next ch-5 sp, ch 3; repeat from * 7 times, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (24 dc, 8 ch-3 spaces)
  • Round 4:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, * dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3; repeat from * 7 times, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (40 dc, 8 ch-3 spaces)
  • Round 5:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, * dc in next 5 dc, 2 dc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3; repeat from * 7 times, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (56 dc, 8 ch-3 spaces)

  • Round 12:Ch 1, sc in same sp, * 11 dc in next ch-6 sp, sc in next ch-6 sp; repeat from * around omitting the very last sc, join with sl st in first sc. (176 dc, 16 sc)
