Ch 8 and sl st in first ch to form a ring.

  • Round 1:Ch 1, (sc in the ring, ch 5) 5 times, sc in the ring, ch 2 and join with dc in first sc to create last ch-5 sp of the round. (6 sc, 6 ch-5 spaces)
  • Round 2:Ch 1, sc in same sp, (ch 5, 2 sc in next ch-5 sp) 5 times, ch 5, sc in next ch-5 sp, join with sl st in first sc. (12 sc, 6 ch-5 spaces)
  • Round 3:Sl st in next ch-5 sp, ch 3 (counts as dc), in same sp work (3 dc, ch 3, 4 dc), in each of next 5 ch-5 spaces work (4 dc, ch 3, 4 dc), join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (48 dc, 6 ch-3 spaces)
  • Round 4:Sl st in next dc, ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next 2 dc, * ch 3, in next ch-3 sp work (dc, ch 5, dc, ch 9, dc, ch 5, dc), ch 3, dc in next 3 dc **, skip next 2 dc, dc in next 3 dc; repeat from * around ending last repeat at **, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (60 dc, 12 ch-3 spaces, 12 ch-5 spaces, 6 ch-9 spaces)

Fasten off your work and carefully weave in all loose ends.
