Instructions
Make a magic ring.

  • Round 1:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 23 dc in the ring, pull the thread tail to close the ring (as much as needed), join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (24 dc)
  • Round 2:Ch 5 (counts as dc and ch-2 sp), * skip next dc, dc in next dc, ch 2; repeat from * around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch5. (12 dc, 12 ch-2 spaces)
  • Round 3:Sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 3 (counts as dc), 3 dc in same sp, ch 1, * 4 dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 1; repeat from * around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (48 dc, 12 ch-1 spaces)
  • Round 4:Sl st in next dc, ch 1, sc in next dc, ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp, * ch 3, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc, ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp; repeat from * 11 times, ch 1 and join with hdc in first sc to create last ch-3 sp of the round. (24 ch-3 spaces, 24 sc)
  • Round 5:Ch 1, sc in same sp, * ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp; repeat from * 23 times, ch 1 and join with hdc in first sc to create last ch-3 sp of the round. (24 ch-3 spaces, 24 sc)
  • Round 6:Ch 1, sc in same sp, * in next ch-3 sp work (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc), sc in next ch-3 sp; repeat from * around omitting the very last sc, join with sl st in first sc. (72 dc, 12 ch-1 spaces, 12 sc)

Fasten off and neatly weave in all loose ends.
