Charming Crochet Medallion Motif

Instructions
Make a magic ring.

  • Round 1:Ch 1, 10 sc in the ring, pull the yarn tail to tighten the ring as much as needed, join with sl st in beg sc. 
  • Round 2:Ch 6 (counts as dc and ch-3 sp), (dc in next sc, ch 3) 9 times, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch6. 
  • Round 3:In each ch-3 sp around work (2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc), join with sl st in beg sc. 
  • Round 4:Sl st in next sc and in next ch-2 sp, (ch 7, sl st in next ch-2 sp) around. 
  • Round 5:In each ch-7 sp around work (4 sc, ch 5 and sl st in 5th ch from hook – picot made, 4 sc), join with sl st in beg sc.

Fasten off and neatly weave in all loose ends.
