Instructions

Make a magic ring.

  • Round 1:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 15 dc in the ring, pull the yarn tail to tighten the ring as much as needed, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (16 dc)
  • Round 2:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same stitch, 2 dc in each dc around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (32 dc)
  • Round 3:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same stitch, dc in next dc, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc; repeat from * around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (48 dc)
  • Round 4:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same stitch, dc in next 2 dc, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc; repeat from * around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (64 dc)
  • Round 5:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same stitch, dc in next 3 dc, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc; repeat from * around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (80 dc)
  • Round 6:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each dc around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch3. (80 dc)
  • Round 7:Ch 1, sc in same stitch, * ch 5, skip next dc, sc in next dc; repeat from * around (39 times), ch 2 and join with dc in first sc to create last ch-5 sp of the round. (40 sc, 40 ch-5 spaces)
  • Round 8 – Round 11:Ch 1, sc in same sp, * ch 5, sc in next ch-5 sp; repeat from * around, ch 2 and join with dc in first sc to create last ch-5 sp of the round. (40 sc, 40 ch-5 spaces)
  • Round 12:Ch 1, sc in same sp, * 9 dc in next ch-5 sp, sc in next ch-5 sp; repeat from * around omitting the very last sc, join with sl st in first sc. (20 sc, 180 dc)

Fasten off and weave in all loose ends to secure your work and create a neat, polished look.
