Simple Crochet Christmas Tree

Use this free crochet pattern to decorate your big Christmas tree with cute little trees or make beautiful garlands and get into the holiday spirit.
I made my Simple Crochet Christmas Tree with embroidery floss scraps and a 2 mm crochet hook and its final size is 9 by 8 cm (3,5 by 3,1 inches).
Besides your chosen thread and crochet hook, you will also need a needle to weave in loose ends and a pair of scissors.

Instructions
Make a magic ring.

• Row 1:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in the ring, pull the thread end to tighten the ring, turn.
• Row 2:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 3:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 4:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 9 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 5:Sl st in same stitch and in next 5 stitches, ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 6:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 7 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 7:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 11 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 8:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 15 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 9:Sl st in same stitch and in next 5 stitches, ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 9 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 10:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 13 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 11:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 17 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 12:Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same stitch, dc in next 21 dc, 3 dc in next dc, turn.
• Row 13:Sl st in same stitch and in next 10 stitches, ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next 6 dc, turn.
• Row 14:Ch 1, sc in same stitch and in next 6 dc.

Fasten off and weave in loose ends.
