This free crochet flower pattern is quick and effortless, it is exactly what you need for a personalized gift topper or a bag accessory. The Crochet Flower Clio pattern uses only basic crochet stitches, so it shouldn’t be a problem for a beginner crocheter. Experiment with different yarn weights and hook sizes for larger or smaller flowers. Just to give you an idea of the size, with cotton thread size 10 and a 2 mm crochet hook, this flower will measure about 4,5 cm (1,8 inches) in diameter.
You will also need a needle to weave in loose ends and a pair of scissors.

Instructions
Make a magic ring (or ch 6 and sl st in first ch to form a ring).
- Round 1:Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in the ring, (ch 6, 3 dc in the ring) 5 times, ch 6, dc in the ring, pull the thread end to tighten the ring and join with sl st in 3rd ch of first ch3.
- Round 2:* Ch 1, skip next dc, in next ch-6 sp work (sc, hdc, 7 dc, hdc, sc), ch 1, skip next dc, sl st in next dc; repeat from * around.
Fasten off and weave in loose ends.
